Design inspired by Art Deco architecture of New York City. Top row depicts the escalators and stairs of Rockefeller Center (1931). The bottom left stamp depicts the staircase of the Chrysler Building (1930), and the bottom right stamp depicts the stairs of the Barbizon-Plaza Hotel (1930). Created with four-tones of layered cut paper (two grays, black, and gold) on a white background. Reduced on a color copier from original size of 3" by 4 1/2" to 1" by 1 1/2" (each stamp). 12/1/97 |
